So a councilman, an Italian Ice guy and a film producer walk into an office…
…and we end up figuring out that this town could use another Real Estate Agency. And we’re just the trio to do it!
When Kim Surowicz Allen, Mike Corbally and Doug Bollinger started working together, they had some prior connections, but none as significant as the business partnership they would cultivate while helping potential buyers, sellers and renters in the Point Pleasant Beach area. After a few years working for another Agency, the threesome decided to dive into the world of Real Estate, head first, without shoes! And they started Barefoot Real Estate.
Kim has built a film production resume that includes The Departed, The Interpreter, Fighting and many more. Kim’s family has owned a house in town since 1979. After Sandy flooded the house, Kim oversaw the construction of the new home. She's been a happy full time resident of Point Pleasant Beach for over a decade now.
Mike has been a successful business owner and PPB councilman. He has raised his 2 daughters here and is often being walked around town by Eli.
Doug grew up in Long Branch and has worked in education and film production for over 20 years. You might recognize Doug from his years as the owner and/or operater of Strollo’s Lighthouse Italian Ice.
Kim & Doug also own and operate Shore Riders Bike Rentals and their license plates can be seen all over the Jersey Shore each summer.
Cali Coulter was born and raised in Bay Head and graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School. Cali left town for college but found herself missing one thing, the salty air of her small little beach town. Once returning home and graduating from Monmouth University, Cali continued her career in the restaurant industry going on to become a General Manager at a shore town classic known as Surf Taco. Cali's mother, Gail, has since created an eatery of her own known as The Food Shack which is located right on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk. Cali decided to take her managing experiences and bring them over to the family business. If it wasn't for The Food Shack, Cali would have never met Kim, who opened her eyes to the real estate world. Barefoot took Cali under their wing and showed her what it means to be the best agent possible. When Cali is not in the office, you can find her at The Food Shack during the summer season or at the beach, enjoying that salty air she once missed so much.
Pete Johnson has lived in Brick since he was 2 years old. He spent 4 years in the Marine Corps aboard Marine One and 12 years as an operating engineer in NYC. After years of tossing the idea around, he finally got his license and joined the Barefoot family.
